After years in the Costume design business for both the theater and Film, Jonathan Anderson decided to launch his own business as a fashion designer, and thus, Anderson Couture was born. The premise of his brand is simple… he considers his clients the main character of the story of their lives. Applying his expertise in high end dress making, italian tailoring techniques, along with his experience as a costume designer, Jonathan creates a garment that perfectly fits your measurements. Furthermore at Anderson Couture you will receive a consultation where you will have a color analysis along with a kibbe body type analysis as well. At Anderson Couture we are aware that you commission our designs for an important occasion in your life. The Story Of Anderson Couture
The beginning
Jonathan Anderson was originally born and raised in the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. With over 30 years of experience in the Fashion industry, a Masters degree in fashion design and studied Haute Couture Dressmaking and the Italian Sartoriale method of Tailoring.
Searching our style
Throughout his career he was tasked with costume designing for theatrical productions such as Dracula, Romeo and Juliet, Doctor Dolittle, the Wizard of Oz, the Nutcracker, among others. Jonathan further provided his expertise to movie productions in the Ohio area such as Draft Day along with many other independent productions. He further dressed multitudes of singers and actors for their events and performances such as Latin house singer Judy Torres and writer Ranae, and Miss Miss North America 2018 Naiomy Miranda, Miss Ohio Latina 2016, Singer Traffic the Artist, Cleveland’s own Kai.
New Generation
Jonathan’s experience and training led to his capacity of designing for most body types regardless of size, height or age. Anderson’s design style mixes a global metropolitan style, infused with both rock music and a Caribbean flair. He believes your outfit should be your introduction letter to the world.
