Atomic Hawx Magna XTD 130 – Wide‑Fit Freeride Touring Power for Big Feet

The Atomic Hawx Magna XTD 130 is built for freeride skiers with wide feet who want one boot that can charge hard in the resort and still hike, skin, or bootpack beyond the ropes. With a high‑volume 102 mm Wide Last and a stiff 130 flex, it delivers top‑end support and precision for expert skiers who usually struggle to find enough room in narrower crossover boots.

Prolite shell construction starts with a slim, weight‑conscious profile and reinforces only critical power zones, creating a strong, stable chassis that still feels surprisingly light on your feet. A full set of 7000‑series aluminum tour buckles and a 40/45 mm cam power strap lock the cuff down, while 6000‑series aluminum wire buckles secure the shell for confident, powerful skiing.

Inside, the Mimic Platinum liner with Achilles Flex Zone uses heat‑moldable materials that shape exactly to your foot, ankle, and lower leg for a custom, performance feel. Power Ankle Lock (PAL) contours the ankle and holds the heel securely for the long term, and the 3D Stretch Toe Box plus Hawx AFS Tongue and Dura Shield construction add toe comfort, shin comfort, and long‑lasting liner durability.

For freeride missions and tours, the Free/Lock 4.5 ski/walk mechanism and Frictionless Pivot deliver up to 54° of cuff range of motion for a natural stride on the skintrack and easy walking around the parking lot or hut. Memory Fit lets a bootfitter heat‑mold the shell and cuff for a fully personalized fit, while the Adaptive Fit System (AFS) Cuff spoiler and repositionable AFS Tongue can be adjusted or removed to open up more calf and instep room.

Complete Tech (CT) GripWalk soles with Investment Cast Tech Inserts make the boot fully compatible with pin (tech) bindings as well as GripWalk, MN, and MNC bindings, so it can move seamlessly between touring and in‑bounds setups. Adjustable forward lean at 13°, 15° (default), or 17° lets expert skiers tune stance to their style. For big‑volume feet that need space without giving up high‑level freeride‑touring performance, the Hawx Magna XTD 130 at Goodwynns.com is a top‑of‑the‑line solution.
