Cryptocoryne grown on Driftwood

Cryptocoryne is a commonly found aquatic plant in planted aquariums. Generally hardy, Cryptocoryne species will do well in a wide range of aquarium conditions and is a great choice for beginner hobbyists. This particular Cryptocoryne comes readily attached to a piece of aquarium driftwood and can be simply placed into a planted aquarium for an instant aquascape style. The type of Cryptocoryne received may vary and photos are a representation of what will be received.

Cryptocoryne species grow at a slow to moderate rate depending on the environment in which they're kept. There is a wide variety of species in the planted tank hobby and are a great addition to the midground of planted aquariums. Once placed, Cryptocoryne does not typically like to be moved so care should be taken to plan out its placement first! Cryptocoryne can be grown submerged or emersed but ample amounts of humidity should be provided if grown above water. Propagation is simple and can be done by separating new plantlets growing and replanting or reattaching.

Notes:
  • Cryptocoryne prefer not to be moved once planted. If possible, do not move them!
  • Do not make drastic changes to the aquarium. Unstable parameters will result in melt and rotting of the aquarium plant.
  • This product is aquarium ready and can be placed into your tank instantly.
  • CO2 injection and quality aquarium soil will yield better growth.
  • Please research appropriately to ensure your plant thrives.
