freedOm is a collection of poetry that was inspired and expressed during the healing process of various life traumas. Sometimes written word can release feelings that are difficult to vocalize and share, which is why this body of work is released for others to be able to read and relate to during their unique healing journey. The chapters begin as many healing journeys do, in a state of limbo, as one transitions from who they were, to who they are ultimately destined to become. These poems tap into the deep, dark, depressed states one can find themselves in as they feel the pain needed to grieve the losses they kept buried inside. All poems were written when Infinity Li was age 25 through 28, expect Chapter 2.2 Vault, which were poems written when Infinity Li was between the ages of 14 through 16. The written words within the chapters weave within alignment of the various emotional stages one goes through when healing from various forms of trauma, such as shock, anger, fear, guilt, isolation, and numbness. These poems are presented in a way where the reader can have a companion of sorts to reveal and voice what they may feel unable to express and voice themselves. As the chapters move forward one gets the sense that healing and empowerment is something to be found within oneself. True peace comes from a clear and stable place within, which when manifested outwardly leads to a life of alignment with one's soul and the expression of one's birthright- freedOm. Read more
